theGRIO REPORT - Mia and Rozonno McGhee from OWN's 'Six Little McGhees' docu-series, discuss the financial strain of having 3-year-old sextuplets....

Oprah Winfrey Network’s hit ddocu-series Six Little McGhees is back with all new episodes. The show follows the hectic lives of Mia and Rozonno McGhee as they  marriage and a family business, all while raising six adorable three-year-olds.

Earlier this month Six Little McGhees helped OWN deliver its highest-rated week in network history, and continues bring in new viewers.

During an interview with theGrio, Mia and Rozonno talked about the financial challenges of providing for six children.

“With having sextuplets… it’s always a new challenge,” Mia said. “We’re learning with our kids, now they’re more active, they have a lot of energy that they need to burn so we have to enroll them in football and soccer.”

“As the kids are growing the needs are growing, and that’s more money. The show definitely helps, of course we get paid for it, that’s awesome, and then we get the experiences. And we get paid for being ourselves, plus records and memories being created.”

In a recent issue of People magazine, Kate Gosselin opened up about her family’s life after their smash hit series Jon & Kate Plus 8. Several of the Gosselin kids — now 12 and 9 — confessed that they missed the TV cameras and perks of reality fame.

Mia and Rozonno agreed that they are not concerned about the long-term effects that reality fame might have on their children.

“I’m not worried about that at all,” Mia said. “It’s not something that I think about ever. I just enjoy it in the moment for what it is. I know how in the TV world you’re in this day and you’re out the next. I realize that’s a possibility. I’m okay with that, I really am. I never thought I would have a reality show.”

Tune in for new episodes of Six Little McGhees, Saturdays at 10/9c on OWN.
