Montana Fishburne, the daughter of accomplished TV and film star Laurence Fishburne, became infamous three years ago when at age 19 she launched a porn career reportedly in the hopes of becoming the next Kim Kardashian.

Although the Vivid Entertainment footage went viral, the aspiring actress’s career in adult films appears to have gone nowhere fast.

According to a industry source interviewed by Fox News, “Montana Fishburne’s tape sold pretty well. That was a completely different time. It was $60,000 up front, but she didn’t get 70 percent of the tape sales.”

Jasmine Waltz, another young woman who has made a tape for Vivid, says, “Laurence Fishburne’s daughter got burned really, really bad. She got $60,000 dollars and never saw another penny.”

Now, allegedly, Fishburne is walking away from the industry and encouraging women not the follow the same path she did.

“I don’t encourage people to go into the porn industry. You’re not going to be famous, or be a movie star. You may end up having a really sucky life,” she has reportedly told Fox News. “If you look at the celebrity sex tape, these girls are not your average girl next door jumping into porn and for the average girl to get into porn and have those results won’t happen. You have to look at where you come from. My idea is go to school and have life experience but don’t just jump into something blindly and have a big pay day. If you’re going to be going into porn, you have to have a very clear head.”

Back in 2010, TMZ reported that Fishburne received treatment at an impatient facility “that specializes in anger management, behavioral problems and mental illnesses” and on a separate occasion she told the gossip website that her famous father was “very upset” over her attempt at a porn career.

“I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive,” Montana Fishburne said at the time.
