Bernie Goetz, the subway vigilante, was arrested Friday in New York City for selling drugs to an undercover officer.

In 1984 Goetz shot four panhandling, African-American youths on the subway. He was cleared of attempted murder charges, but did serve 250 days after being convicted on weapons charges.

According to NBC New York, Goetz was arrested following a sting operation in Union Square.

Authorities said the 65-year-old sold $30 worth of marijuana to an undercover cop.
