R. Kelly's 'Trapped in the Closet' to return in 2014

R. Kelly is everywhere these days and he’ll be even more prolific in the new year.

The “Pied Piper of R&B” is currently on the pop charts alongside Lady Gaga (“Do What U Want”) and is about to drop his unapologetically raunchy solo album Black Panties.

Yet even casual fans are psyched to hear that he will be resurrecting his venerable Trapped in the Closet series on the cable network IFC.

Believe it or not, R. Kelly is on part 33 of his music video opus.

“I’m gonna be forever writing these chapters,” Kelly told Entertainment Weekly last year. “Because now I’ve created a fan base out there that deserves to hear what’s next.”
