The cast of Saturday Night Live spoofed Tyler Perry’s Madea movies and the recent box office hit Best Man Holiday with a fake movie called White Christmas.
“White Christmas — the first black holiday movie for a white audience,” the parody trailer says in the opening. SNL host Paul Rudd cross-dressed as an eccentric, gun-toting grandmother.
Quotes from faux reviews included “Can’t we have anything?” from Vibe magazine and Essence calling it “The Macklemore of movies.”
At the end Jay Pharoah jokes, “Are we going to in trouble for this?”
