Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office used photos on Depree Johnson’s Instagram account to obtain a search warrant and arrest him.
Depree Johnson, 19, had previously been convicted of five felonies.
Investigators found $250K worth of stolen jewelry, electronics and firearms, reports the Sun Sentinel.
The 19-year-old is believed to be associated with a group responsible for over 30 burglaries in Palm Beach County.
Johnson faces 142 counts of weapons/ammunition by a convicted felon, among other charges.
According to WPBF, when a detective asked his occupation to complete the arrest report, Johnson replied, “thief.”
His Instagram account is no longer active.
