The family of Teleka Patrick intensifies their search for the 30-year-old as Christmas grows closer.

Patrick was last seen December 5 when she was dropped off at her car in the parking lot of Borgess Medical Center on Gull Road in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

According to police reports, Patrick tried to check in at the Radisson Plaza Hotel & Suites in downtown Kalamazoo, but eventually got a ride from a hotel courtesy van driver after she wasn’t able to get a room.

Her car, a Lexus ES300, was found over 100 miles away from the hotel in a ditch off I-94 in Portage, Indiana.

The young doctor has been in Kalamazoo since July for the first of four years as a medical resident in psychiatry with the WMU School of Medicine.

Patrick’s cell phone and purse were found at the medical center, not in her car, causing confusion for family and authorities.

The missing doctor’s family has raised over $22,500 on the crowd funding site Go Fund Me that will be used to hire a private investigator and pay for costs related to Teleka’s safe return.

If you have any information about Patrick’s whereabouts, please contact the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department at 269-383-8748 or report a tip to the Black and Missing Foundation.
