While they no longer worked professionally, 50 Cent assisted Green in paying for the funeral of D’aja Robinson, the 14-year-old girl who was shot in the head by stray bullets while waiting on a Queens bus following a friends birthday party in May.
According to the NY Daily News, family and friends considered Green a step-father to Robinson.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect, who was wearing a black ski mask and fled the scene.
