California rap duo Audio Push originally found fame for their single “Teach Me How To Jerk” in 2009, back when hip-hop was all about radio dance friendly hits.

A lot of their contemporaries that populated that era aren’t around anymore. Fast forward five years, and the Inland Empire natives are still making music and thriving.

“We just really want to make good music,” said Oktane of Audio Push about their longevity. “We’re focused every time we get into the booth to create.”

The longevity of their music is on full display with their September 2013 free mixtape Come As You Are. The Released underneath “Ni**as in Paris” producer’s Hit-Boy label “Hits Since 87” record label, Audio Push’s latest video for “Shine” pays homage to a Cali movie classic “Friday”.

“We grew up on that movie and we wanted to bring the fun back to music videos. But it had to be done right,” said Pricetag about filming the video to “Shine”.
