Add Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams to the list of Real Housewives-turned-pop singers.
The 32-year-old RHOA cast member plans to follow in the footsteps of Kim Zolciak, Kenya Moore, Danielle Staub, Countess Luann, and Melissa Gorga, with the release of her upcoming single, followed-up by a 5-track EP.
“I’m in the studio. I’m working on a song that is amazing and it speaks to my past relationship and it’s gonna be released really soon,” Porsha said in an interview with theGrio.
Porsha explained her reasoning for putting out an EP as opposed to a full album.
“It will be about 5 songs,” she said. “I’m not gonna really jump all the way out there because these are coming from my heart. I’m not gonna put too much on myself and say 13 [tracks]… a whole album.”
Earlier this season on RHOA, Williams labeled her ex-husband Kordell Stewart a “queen” and also discussed their lack of sexual contact at the end of their marriage, which led to wide speculation that Stewart was gay or bisexual.
Porsha weighed in on the rumors her ex-husband’s sexuality.
Those rumors were out way before Porsha was even in the picture. At the time I said what I said because that was what I felt. The cameras were there. They were capturing raw emotion and that’s what I gave.”
