Ex-NFL star Keyshawn Johnson has shown little patience for his pop star neighbor Justin Bieber.
The unlikely pair got into a public spat last May when the former wide receiver and current ESPN analyst got into a heated confrontation with the singer when he was driving recklessly within their gated community.
“Johnson was outside with his 3-year-old daughter who was preparing to get into a small electric car when Bieber zoomed by. Johnson was upset and got into his Prius, following Bieber to his nearby home. As the garage door was closing, Johnson put out his arm and stopped it, telling Bieber he wanted to talk,” the Associated Press reported at the time.
Bieber allegedly “scurried” from the scene.
Now, after the 19-year-old’s high-profile arrest for drunk drag racing, Johnson is saying ‘I told you so.’
“They finally caught HIM! Glad no one was hurt, no kids in the street. Everyone grows up at some point. Hopefully he learns from it,” Johnson, 41, wrote on Twitter.
“The scary part is grown adults who are w/ him aren’t protecting him from himself! All looking for a quick buck. Learning experience for all,” he added.
TMZ has alleged that Bieber’s 38-year-old father facilitated his son’s antics behind the wheel. The pop star was released on $2,500 bail yesterday.
