Drake took to Twitter today to air his feelings about being “misquoted” in leaked excerpts from an interview with Rolling Stone.

I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately.

Drake’s beef with the famous magazine stems from reportedly being promised the cover and being replaced  with an image of the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and also a quote attributed to him about Kanye West’s mic skills on his latest album Yeezus.

“There were some real questionable bars on there,” he says. “Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some sh*t like that.” But Drake says he speaks from a bedrock of deep respect. “Kanye’s the reason I’m here. I love everything about that guy.”

Rolling Stone backs their interview with the Toronto rapper and in a statement with MTV’s Rob Markman, and say the quotes were on the record and an online copy will be available soon.

Drake has recently made headlines for blasting Macklemore’s apology text message to Kendrick Lamar after beating him for winning best Rap Album at the Grammys calling it “wack as f**k.”
