Sasheer Zamata made a high-profile debut on Saturday Night Live back in January, but she has yet to score a breakout character or moment.
Never fear, she has a leading role in a funny viral series that parodies AMC’s prestigious drama Mad Men.
Zamata plays an advertising exec (for the fictional CPT or Colored People’s Time) pitching a hummus company in Black Mad Men, which features Key and Peele writer Phil Augusta Jackson. Their motto is advertising “for black people, by black people, for white people.”
