Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s relationship may have had its ups and downs — but despite the drama, the basketball player publicly shared his love for his “beautiful, black queen” on social media this week.

The engaged couple had been dating for months when news broke in December that Wade had fathered a child while the two were on a “break.”

However, despite the media scrutiny the duo have received, it seems as though they are undeterred in their wedding plans.

In a post published to Instagram on Wednesday, the 3-time NBA champion posted a stunning photo of Union claiming her as his #WCW, otherwise known as “Woman Crush Wednesday” — a weekly trending social media hashtag.

“My #WCW my #beautifulblackqueen… My Life mistakes gave me you and my life mistakes almost made me lose you but your love has conquered all and I hope to spend the rest of my life with you…,” Wade wrote after posting this photo:
