Last weekend comedian D.L. Hughley served as the host for the 9th Annual Jazz in the Gardens music festival in Miami.
theGrio caught up with The Original Kings of Comedy star to talk about his weekday radio show, The D.L. Hughley Show, and more.
In 2013, Hughley competed on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. After five weeks in the ballroom, he was sent home.
Hughley has useful tips for season 18 DWTS contestants, NeNe Leakes and Billy Dee Williams: “Bengay and Advil.”
When asked whether or not NeNe or Billy Dee can win the coveted DWTS mirror ball trophy, Hughley said, “no, stop it… they don’t think that… stop it. Billy Dee, if it’s a Colt 45 trophy.”
The comedy veteran also gave some words of advice to the current reigning comedy box office king, Kevin Hart.
