Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Stand-up comedy icon Dave Chappelle is scheduled to make his return to the New York stage this summer at Radio City Music Hall.

Tickets for the June 19 show will go on sale for American Express cardholders tomorrow and for the rest of the public on April 4th.

This show will mark the first time in 10 years that Chappelle has officially performed in the Big Apple. He has made surprise appearances at venues like The Comedy Cellar in recent years.

The comedian’s legendary Comedy Central series Chappelle’s Show was taped in New York for roughly two years until it was abruptly ended when Chappelle left the show citing creative differences in 2005.

Hopefully, the reception in NYC will be better than the one Chappelle received last year in Hartford, CT.

When hecklers there disrupted his performance at a Funny or Die festival show Chappelle cut his set short and left the stage.
