Chris Brown’s legal woes continue to overshadow his music career.
According to NBC Washington, Brown has been taken into custody by U.S. marshals and will brought to Washington D.C. for a pre-trial hearing regarding an alleged assault in the nation’s capital last fall.
The singer faces misdemeanor charges for allegedly punching a 20-year-old from Beltsville, Md.
The alleged victim claims that when he tried to take a photo with Brown outside the W Hotel, the R&B star said, “I’m not down with that gay [expletive]” and “I feel like boxing.”
Brown is currently in Los Angeles facing charges for a parole violation following his dismissal from rehab this March.
