Air Force Tech Sergeant Wil Alteus returned home from duty and surprised his daughter, Lyrique, at school.
The staged moment was caught on film and has gone viral. It was even featured on the Today Show this morning.
Sgt. Alteus, a single father, was living in New Jersey with his daughter when he was called to active duty in Asia last summer. Lyrique then moved to Florida to live with Sgt. Alteus’ sister, Kinley.
After nine months away from home, Lyrique’s father decided to surprise both her and her aunt at Mount Dora Bible School in Mount Dora, FL, reports People.
