With Def Jam and its Universal Music Group imprint currently crumbling, one of it’s major artists is reportedly jumping ship.
According to Complex, Rihanna will be leaving the label that’s been her home since 2005 to join JAY Z’s Roc Nation.
Though she was already managed by Roc Nation, her onsite profile has now been updated from management to “management /artist.”
Roc Nation’s long roster of talent includes Rita Ora, J.Cole and Shakira, and by adding the “Pour It Up” singer, Jay -Z has secured arguably the biggest name in pop music.
