Lupita Nyong'o joins Mexico's 'Sesame Street' to celebrate laughter

Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o joined Plaza Sésamo, a Mexican edition of the popular children’s show Sesame Street, earlier this week for a short segment celebrating laughter.

“Hello, I’m Lupita. Today I want us to celebrate smile day,” Nyong’o says in Spanish. “Do you know how to laugh? Why don’t we laugh together? Ready, 1, 2, 3!”

Nyong’o, who is Kenyan, was born in Mexico. The talented actress can speak multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
