Former NFL player Marvin Harrison was shot at during the early hours of Saturday morning in Philadelphia after he agreed to help another man escape assailants.
The Philadelphia Daily News reports the former Colts wide receiver was driving around the Wynnefield Heights section around 3:20 a.m. when a man in his underwear flagged him down for help.
The man, who was only wearing boxers, allegedly fled his apartment during a home invasion.
Harrison allowed the man to climb into the back of his pickup truck. When the burglars saw, they fired two shots at the truck.
Neither man was hit, but one tire was struck, causing it to go flat shortly later.
The former NFL star has been accused of involvement in past Philadelphia shootings but has never been charged.
