A 450-pound Florida man was arrested Friday after police found marijuana hidden in his stomach fat.
Forty-two-year-old Christopher Mitchell was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by Volusia County authorities, according to NBC Miami.
Mitchell reportedly told police he was not wearing a seat belt because he was “simply too large.”
Both Mitchell and the driver, Keithian Roberts, seemed nervous, so the deputy who stopped them used a drug-detecting dog.
The K-9 assisted in finding about 23 grams of marijuana in Mitchell’s stomach fat alone. There was also cocaine, $7,000 and a handgun in the car.
Mitchell was arrested for possession of marijuana, and Roberts was arrested for possession of cocaine.
