Have you ever wondered why black women play such minor roles in movies? Well, actress Alfre Woodard has the answer, according to Funny or Die.

In a parody video published to the comedy website Monday, Woodard and actresses Tracee Ellis Ross, Meagan Good and Loretta Devine act as a secret society of black women who claim this was all a part of their plan to run Hollywood.

Jurnee Smollett-Bell plays the unsuspecting target who is grilled by the women as they fill her in on their secret mission.

“Haven’t you ever wondered why black women play such minor roles in movies? Why more of us aren’t directors or producers?” Woodard asks Smollett, to which she responds: “Racism? Sexism? Both?”

“We’ve been flying under the radar, darling, to maintain complete control,” Woodard said.

Woodard even goes on to explain that Beyonce and Oprah were both once “operatives” but were exiled from the group after reaching their level of fame.
