A 37-year-old man was shot multiple times and pistol whipped in a Bronx bodega on Webster Avenue early Saturday morning.
According to police, the victim and shooter were talking inside the store when the suspect pulled out a gun and began firing, reports NBC New York.
The shooting was caught on surveillance video. The footage shows the customer attempting to flee as the suspect begins to fire. When the costumer falls, the suspect continues to shoot and then hits him in the face with his gun on his way out.
The two are allegedly friends, reports New York Daily News. They were in the area shooting a low-budget rap video when they began to argue.
A nearby business owner told the Daily News both seemed intoxicated and argued over who was the “star.”
The victim is currently in critical condition at Lincoln Hospital. No arrests have been made.
