A new season of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle kicks off tonight on VH1 at 9/8c.

In the new season, T.I. ventures into new territory with his own cooking show. Tameka and her hair stylist, Shekinah, continue to embark on their own adventures with a “going country” day and hypnotherapy. And all of T.I. and Tiny’s kids work together to create and brand their very own Harris Family lemonade.

During an interview with Chris Witherspoon for MSNBC.com, T.I. discusses the new season of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, and responded to comparisons drawn between his family and the famous Huxtable family from The Cosby Show.

“I got [Cosby] beat by one kid,” T.I. said. “I think the comparison is flattering. I think we have to remind ourselves that was a scripted television show. Here, this is us. Because the show was so impactful and there was the ability to relate and they tied in the real American topics that still are relevant today. We also tackle relevant topics of America. I think that is the correlation… and of course we’re all black.”
