Bronx man kills himself by decapitation

Using a chain and his SUV, a man decapitated himself Monday in the Bronx, according to police.

A 51-year-old man, identified as Tomas Rivera by the NY Daily News, reportedly tied a chain around his neck and then to a nearby pole shortly before hitting the gas pedal of his SUV.

The man was decapitated as a result.

The incident happened in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx Monday morning.
