Add ESPN’s Lisa Salters to the growing number of media members who will not be using the term “Redskins” this NFL season.
According to Sports Illustrated‘s Richard Deitsch, Salters will simply say “Washington” instead.
ESPN MNF reporter Lisa Salters has chosen to say "Washington" as opposed to the Redskins. That's how she'll handle heading forward.

The team is scheduled to appear on MNF twice in October. In August, the Washington Post decided it would not use the team’s name on its editorial page.
Poynter Institute has published an ongoing list of journalists and publications who have decided not to use the term anymore because of its offensive connotations.
The team’s owner, Daniel Snyder, has vowed to “never” change the nickname.
