'Six Little McGhees' prove it takes a village to raise sextuplets

The McGhee sextuplets are turning four years old on the new season of the OWN docu-series, Six Little McGhees.
Columbus, Ohio’s first sextuplets, Josiah, Madison, Olivia, Issac, Rozonno Jr. and Elijah are back for more tender moments and love-filled chaos in an all-new season premiering Saturday at 10/9c.
This season, the Six Little McGhees aren’t so little anymore. Inches taller and a whole lot more vocal and active, the kids are developing their own personalities, which means there are bigger tantrums … and even bigger adventures. Now that the kids are older, parents Mia and Ro need to expand the size of their home to fit their growing family.
Mia and Rozonno own a carpet cleaning business in Columbus, Ohio, which helps them provide for their six toddlers.
During an interview last year with theGrio, Mia and Rozonno opened up about the financial strain of making ends meet with such a large family.
“It’s not getting easier,” Rozonno said. “But I think because of the show and being on the Oprah Winfrey Show … we got a lot of referrals.”
“We can’t forget that Oprah gave us a huge plug,” Mia admitted. “She said if you live in Columbus, Ohio, and need your carpets cleaned, call this man. And it changed my life, and now we have a show on OWN.”
This season, conflicts arise as the couple, who don’t always see eye-to-eye, learn to compromise when it comes to either investing in a new home or in their ever-expanding family carpet cleaning business. While balancing the challenges of raising the unforgettable brood, from enrolling them in new activities to searching for preschools, the McGhees prove every step of the way that “it takes a village” when it comes to their unique family — and that love can overcome any obstacle.
