In line with the recent Ray Rice domestic violence case — national women’s group Ultraviolet flew banners over three NFL stadiums last Sunday. These trailing banners bore the phrase: #GoodellMustGo.
The group continues to target NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and call for his resignation as part of their protest over how he and the NFL handled the domestic violence issue against Rice.
The flyovers occurred during Sunday games at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey as well as in stadiums in Cleveland and Indianapolis. The group also plans to do another flyover above the Colts and Eagles game tonight.
Tell the @NFL that @NFLCommish needs to go. Time to accept responsibility. #GoodellMustGo http://t.co/4bnpFXz2TS

These flyovers are not the only protest actions that the organization undertook.
Using the hashtag #GoodellMustGo, they also uploaded and shared an image of a Covergirl NFL model with a photoshopped black eye, in reference to the NFL’s current actions on violence against women.
