Michael Irvin not happy NFL analyst job is causing him to miss church

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Speaking with TMZ Sports, Michael Irvin says it’s been very difficult for him to work as an NFL analyst on Sundays.

“It’s getting to the point where I’m missing church more than I’m looking forward to games,” Irvin says.

Irvin was hired as an analyst for the NFL Network’s “NFL Gameday Morning,” but The Hall of Famer is really conflicted, as he doesn’t know whether or not to spend his Sundays with the NFL instead of Jesus Christ.

“I texted my bishop T.D. Jakes the other day … I said, ‘Man, it’s getting to the point where I’m missing church more than I’m looking forward to games on Sunday.’ That’s been hard for me to go to work … I miss that man,” Irvin continued.

If you take a look at the clip, you can obviously see Irvin is conflicted. However, there is no word on whether or not he is planning to quit his job or establish a new working schedule with the NFL Network.
