Larenz Tate is being sued by American Express
The Love Jones actor Larenz Tate is getting sued for $58,000 by American Express, according to TMZ. The celebrity news site obtained court documents that claims Tate charged up to $57,912.85 on his American Express card but hasn’t paid a dime.
In the lawsuit, AMEX says they sent a few demands for payment but received no response from Tate. The actor is currently filming a new movie called The White Water Movie.
TheGrio spoke to Tate back in July when he joined the cast of the USA Network’s Rush. The 38-year-old mentioned that he would love to shoot a sequel to Love Jones. Watch the interview here.
Tate is also known for his roles in the now modern classic films Menace II Society and Dead Presidents.
