Alfonso Ribeiro won over the hearts of fans of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with his infectious dance known as “The Carlton.”

After weeks of wowing audiences on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, Ribeiro is finally incorporating “The Carlton” into his upcoming routine.

“Whenever you are creating something, you can’t focus on how it is going to play; you just do it and hope it works in the moment,” Ribeiro told PEOPLE about the dance he made famous while playing Will Smith’s cousin on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. “I never thought it would still be something 20-something years later.”

Thus far in the competition, Ribeiro has danced the samba, the jive and the quickstep, but tonight he’s performing a fan favorite.

“You guys want to see the real Carlton? Tune in this week,” Ribeiro said. “Now I just feel like this week is all about giving the fans what they have been asking for and making them happy.”

Tune into an all new episode of Dancing with the Stars tonight at 8/7c on ABC.
