Suge Knight’s shooter identified by police
Police have told the entertainment gossip site TMZ that they have successfully identified the man who shot Suge Knight multiple times at a West Hollywood nightclub back in August. Law enforcement used the surveillance cameras at the nightclub 1Oak to single out the suspect; however, it seems they may find it difficult to arrest him for lack of evidence. Apparently, no one who attended the Chris Brown pre-VMA party is talking.
At around 1:30am Sunday August 24th, the music producer was shot six times. Two others were also wounded, but neither of them or Knight sustained any life-threatening wounds.
In a interview with TMZ in September, the former CEO of Death Row Records suggested that he didn’t think that finding his shooter was “really important.”
“There’s gonna be some times where you might get in a few bar fights; there’s gonna be some times where you might get a few shots. But if you’re able to survive those shots, you’re supposed to make yourself stronger and be more positive, more aggressive with the people you want to deal with. And that’s the page I’m really on,” he added.
The 49-year-old hip-hop mogul was also shot at another pre-VMA party back in 2005. The LAPD is hoping that witnesses do step forward in this case, although they concede that it may be unlikely.
