An Alabama robbery suspect allegedly targeted several Subway restaurants because the “Jared diet” didn’t work for him, according to WVTM-TV.
The Hueytown Police Department released the surveillance video of the robbery, and someone “recognized the suspect” after watching it on Facebook.

[Torrance] is charged with first-degree robbery, and is being transferred to the Jefferson County Jail with bond set at $250,000.
Police Chief Chuck Hagler said in a Facebook post the citizen who led officers to the arrest should be commended:
He helped take a dangerous criminal off our streets and we all owe him a debt of gratitude. All of Jefferson County needs more citizens like him.
