In an incident of the worst kind of road rage, a shooter followed a family into a parking lot and emptied his gun into the crowded van.
The car was full of children, and as the bullets rained down on the car windows, the family dog jumped in front of the bullets, apparently to save the life of one of the kids.
The dog then limped behind the building and died.
A policeman in the Atlanta area said of the incident, “They were fired upon, their family was terrorized, and they survive that only to find out that their pet is now gone. It’s sad for the whole family, especially the day after Thanksgiving.”
