Man arrested for assaulting wife with McChicken sandwich
Des Moines, IA — A man used a McChicken sandwich as a weapon and was arrested for domestic assault.
Marvin Tramaine Hill II was woken up by his pregnant wife Tuesday afternoon, and he became upset at her. She had a McChicken in her hand, which he then took and threw at her. He proceeded to pick up pieces of the thrown sandwich to throw at her.
Hill followed her into the bathroom, where she was attempting to clean herself up, and recorded her until she knocked the phone from his hands. Police say that Hill’s wife has a swollen nose and that Hill had likely tried to incite her into knocking the phone away. She had mayonnaise down her front, and the McChicken bun had been smashed into her face.
Hill was arrested for simple domestic police and told officers he threw the sandwich “because he doesn’t like them.”
