The NY Daily News is reporting that sources close to the couple who died in a murder-suicide claim that an alleged affair with R&B singer Trey Songz may have created a rift between the husband and wife. VH1 star Stephanie Moseley was fatally shot by her husband, Earl Hayes. They claim Hayes was upset about his wife’s alleged infidelities – most notably with the singer.
Over the last two years, they say the affair was often the trigger for their blowups but investigators are still piecing together the specifics that led to yesterday’s tragedy. TMZ is reported that Floyd Mayweather witnessed the murder suicide on FaceTime and that the boxer is “having difficulty dealing” with the experience.
Songz has expressed his condolences on social media but has yet to address the allegations that he may have been a catalyst.

Several outlets have reported that residents of the couple’s lavish L.A complex heard a woman’s screams and up to 10 gunshots fired in the early hours of Monday morning. When the SWAT team descended on the property, they discovered the two dead bodies.
Law enforcement later revealed to TMZ that Hayes, a rapper from Floyd Mayweather’s Money Team, shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself. Mayweather reportedly tried to talk him out of it but was unsuccessful. He is said to have witnessed and heard everything through the video call.
Moseley is a former dancer whose worked with artists like Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Pharrell, Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé, just to name a few. After playing a few bit roles in films like The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, her acting career gained traction when she landed the role of Arelly on VH1’s popular scripted series Hit The Floor.
After hearing of her tragic passing Chris Brown posted an old picture of himself and Moseley with the caption, “RIP baby girl. Danced with me on tour and was always the coolest person. My prayers go out to you and HAZE family.”
