High school student gave teacher weed brownie

A Maryland student at Broadneck High School panicked when his teacher asked if she could have a piece of his brownie.
So he allegedly gave it to her without telling her that it contained marijuana.
A fellow teacher took the victim to the nurse after noticing that she seemed lethargic and disoriented, reports WBAL-TV. The teacher told the nurse she began feeling bad after eating the brownie and suspected it was a pot brownie.
An ambulance arrived at the school, and the teacher was treated and then released from the hospital.
Police say the 17-year-old student who brought the brownie also gave some to his 16-year-old girlfriend. They don’t believe anyone else had the brownies, and school officials have advised students not to accept food from each other.
“You shouldn’t even be bringing it to school, so regardless of whether you wanted the teacher to have it or not, you shouldn’t have had it in school to begin with, shouldn’t be consuming it to begin with,” Anne Arundel County police lieutenant T.J. Smith said.
The student was charged, as a juvenile, with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, administering marijuana, CDS distribution, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
