After 14 years, D’Angelo might be releasing his highly anticipated Black Messiah album.
The singer’s last release was in 2000 with Voodoo, but D’Angelo was afterward submerged in substance addiction and self-doubt after fans focused more on his body than his music.

One person who appears to have already heard the record is pop singer Justin Timberlake. His review of the album was summed up in two words, “Good, God.”
