Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel finalized their divorce after a year of separation.

The couple had announced that they were splitting up back in December 2013, but no papers were filed and no court battles fought for some time after that. All was quiet.

Apparently, Diggs and Menzel had been working out the terms of their divorce, because once the papers were filed in November of this past year, it took no time at all for the divorce to be finalized.

A source close to this couple says they are “amicable” and that they are still determined to raise their 5-year-old son, Walker, together and peacefully.

Diggs and Menzel were married for 10 years prior to the split.
