Oh Iggy.
Earlier this week, Jill Scott and Eve took some verbal jabs at rapper Iggy Azalea’s authenticity. Scott said she bit off Eve and Da Brat. Eve wondered simply where her “blaccent” came from, noting that it couldn’t be from her native Australia.
Wednesday, Iggy clapped back at the Philadelphia duo with a series of tweets that translate into “Baby I Do Dis,” the way she raps in her hit “Fancy.”
Iggy reminded Scott and Eve that she is…herself. And she’s herself…daily. That’ll get ’em.
The pop rapper also said “people” who haven’t met her want her to be a stereotype in order to make “them” feel more comfortable.
