Stacey Dash refuses to believe that Mitt Romney isn’t running.

Friday, Mitt Romney made it official: He’s not running for president.    Stacey Dash didn’t get the memo. Or she saw the memo and doesn’t want to believe it.

“I think the fact that he is a numbers guy makes me believe that this is a chess move,” Dash said Friday on Fox News’ Outnumbered.  “I don’t believe he’s not going to run.”

She added, “I think he is the man for the country.”

Mediaite reports that Dash’s comments made co-host Andrea Tantaros an “unlikely voice of reason.”

In 2012, Dash (in)famously endorsed Mitt Romney for president clad in a red bikini top. The tweet has since been deleted:

Dash wasn’t the only one on cable news pointing out there was a sliver of possibility Romney could still run.

CNN’s Jake Tapper pointed out that Romney’s remarks were “full of caveats,” including a line in which Romney said,  “I’ve been asked, and will certainly be asked again if there are any circumstances whatsoever that might develop that could change my mind…. That seems unlikely.”

So however it plays out, Dash has Romney’s back for the 2016 Election. Write-in candidate?
