Oscar winner Octavia Spencer stars in Insurgent, the follow-up in Lionsgate’s Divergent franchise.
Spencer plays the role of Johanna, the leader of Amity, which is the faction in society that is dedicated to peace and trust. She appears alongside Naomi Watts, Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Kate Winslet.
Directed by Neil Burger, Divergent earned more than $288 million worldwide in box office sales. Robert Schwentke served as director for Insurgent.
The Divergent Series: Insurgent opens in theaters nationwide March 20.
