Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Last summer, Mike Tyson met with Jamie Foxx to discuss the actor playing the former heavyweight champ in a film.

Thursday, Foxx told 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club,” the film has landed an Oscar-winning director: Martin Scorsese.

Foxx called into the station to discuss his new single “You Change Me,” a new collaboration with singer Chris Brown. The conversation quickly changed when Foxx began performing his Tyson impression and started spilling details on the upcoming film:

I just went in with Paramount with Mike Tyson. So I’m going to do the Mike Tyson story. Listen, to be in the same room pitching Mike Tyson to Paramount, Mike Tyson is on one side, I’m on the other side and doing Mike Tyson at the same time. And Martin Scorsese at the helm. This will be the first boxing movie that Martin Scorsese has done since Raging Bull.

The film has not yet begun pre-production, but there is speculation that Foxx will play both old and young Tyson using the same performance-capturing technology from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

So to review: Foxx, Tyson, Scorsese. Awesome.
