Indianapolis police responded Saturday to a home invasion call to find the suspect dead, shot by his own brother.

According to WTHR, Indianapolis police got the call a little before noon, but by the time they arrived, they only found broken windows and the body of Demond Anderson.

Desmond’s older brother, 34-year-old Derrick, called the police upon finding his little brother burglarizing his home. Before police arrived, Derrick confronted Desmond and ultimately shot him.

Derrick confided in police that he was worried that Desmond, who had prior felony convictions for possession of a handgun and possession of stolen property, had found the firearms Derrick had in his home.
