Jamie Foxx is in trouble on social media for “transphobic” comments made during this year’s iHeartRadio music awards.
Foxx, who was hosting the awards, commented on rumors circulating about former Olympian and Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Bruce Jenner transitioning from man to woman. Although Jenner has not publicly addressed the reports, it is rumored that the next season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will address the change.
According to the New York Daily News, Foxx joked that Jenner would perform during the show, saying “[He] will be here doing a his and hers duet by himself.”

He then added, “I’m just busting your balls while I still can.”
The reaction on social media to Foxx’s joke was swift and unforgiving, with many users blasting Foxx for his “crass,” “transphobic,” “derogatory” and “ignorant” comments. Several users also expressed disappointment, saying Foxx was “better” than such jokes.
