Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act has created a whirlwind of bigotry, homophobia and political commentary, but it’s now causing some of Hollywood to take a stand for gay rights.

Last week, Memories Pizza became the first Indiana business to announce that it wouldn’t cater to same-sex weddings because it violated their “religious freedom.”

Zach Braff and Donald Faison, best known for their roles on NBC’s Scrubbs, recently made a bold move in support of gay couples wishing to get married in Indiana.

In response to Memories Pizza, Braff made an announcement on Twitter that he and Faison would be supporting gay couples and literally lend a hand to any same-sex couple that was being discriminated against.

“If you really and truly want pizza for your gay wedding in Indiana… We will make it for you. @donald_faison,” Braff tweeted.

Memories Pizza claims to have become the victim of countless threats after making their homophobic announcement and made the decision to close their restaurant for a short period of time.

Since then, a GoFundMe account was opened in support of the restaurants owners and has raised nearly $1,000,000.
