theGRIO REPORT - Twenty-four-year-old Ailsa "Lisa" Jackson was the "other woman" in a love triangle that left a soldier's wife dead.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Twenty-four-year-old Ailsa “Lisa” Jackson was allegedly the “other woman” in a love triangle that left a soldier’s wife dead.

Now, Jackson will be brought back to Hawaii to face first degree murder charges.

Cathy Walker, 38, was found dead in her own home on the Aliamanu Military Reservation November 15, 2014. Her throat had been cut and suspicion fell first on her husband, who had found her lifeless body.

Jackson was allegedly having an affair with Cathy’s husband Mike Walker.

Walker, 36, admitted to arguing with her but is not considered a suspect, though he is being investigated to see if he had prior knowledge of the crime.

Instead, a federal investigation revealed that Jackson and Mike Walker were having an affair and that, according to court documents, Jackson willfully, deliberately, maliciously, and with premeditation stabbed Cathy Walker to death.

As Jackson is being taken back to Hawaii, those who knew Cathy Walker are grateful to see an arrest after five months of waiting for answers.

“In our hearts, we are just thankful that answers are coming,” said Cathy’s best friend, who wished to remain unnamed. “This huge puzzle that has been in everyone’s mind… the answers are being put together.”

Because Cathy was killed on military property, Jackson could face the death penalty for her actions.
