The comedian channeled her inner Beyoncé once again for Tulane University graduates Saturday. This time, it wasn’t stand-up but an unforgettable rendition of the Star Spangled Banner to cap off a commencement speech.
“Since we are in the Superdome,” Rudolph began. “Would you mind rising more time for the national anthem?”
And then for four minutes, Rudolph gives students the kind of performance they probably only thought was possible on Saturday Night Live.
At one point, Rudolph breaks out lyrics from “Single Ladies” and a couple of lines from “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”
