A black customer ordered a Cajun burger at Huck Finn’s Café in New Orleans and was disgusted when she got her receipt.

Printed in large letters, the phrase, “N—– 100% dislike” was clear as day.

“This is unacceptable. I couldn’t sleep last night,” Liryca Neville Branch told the New York Daily News. “It’s 2015. You would think that we wouldn’t have to deal with this stuff right now. It just shows that racism is alive and well.”

When she and the three other black coworkers who were dining with her asked to speak to the manager, they were told that the whole incident was part of a joke that employees liked to play on the black employees “in the back” of the restaurant.

“This is not right,” said Grant’s mother, Gaynielle Neville, who had posted the receipt to Facebook. ““It’s really crazy to witness that. That’s your job. You’re supposed to conduct yourself in a responsible manner. You’re supposed to treat people as human beings.”

The restaurant issued an apology on Thursday for the outrageous behavior.

“Huck Finn’s Cafe is committed to treating everyone, employees and customers alike, with dignity and respect,” the statement said.

“The unfortunate actions of this one employee do not mirror the mission of Huck Finn’s Cafe’s firm non-discrimination policy, and we are extremely apologetic for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
